THEY - THEY'RE HERRRRREEEEE!

That's right! What was believed to be rumours and paranoia, is in fact...true. THEY are in Syn and have already started, well we don't know what yet but we'll keep you posted and inform you when we find out. Already it seems that THEY have a headquarters on the new side of town as is evident by this picture taken recently.

It seems that THEY are apparently using penquins in their plans, whatever their plans may be. Penquins in Syn you ask? Yes! Apparently so! Penquins were recently spotted in the reception area of Syn City Hospital. It is unknown at this time what THEY's plans are or what penquins have to do with it but one thing is for sure...THEY are here and it doesn't look like THEY are planning on leaving Syn anytime soon.

If anyone has ANY information pertaining to THEY, they're encouraged to contact the local authorities IMMEDIATELY. This may just be a VERY serious threat much like the issue last year with the water contamination and other severe threats to our wonderful city. Keep your eyes and ears open, THEY are watching you and we need to be watching them, whoever THEY are.

THEY vs SNG

The city erupted in a war Sunday when the Mayor's SNG, Syn National Guard, took action against the plans of a massive assault by THEY. For weeks THEY were recruiting, educating and converting citizens into Penguin-loving citizens.

Some would even go so far as to call them "penguin worshipers". According to some, they were out to destroy Syn City, City Hall, and the Mayor. To others, they were merely a small group of penguin-loving citizens.

In any case, the war ended with the destruction of the Mayor's Beloved City Hall, something he'd hoped would be in Syn to remind all of what he has done for Syn City, something to be remembered by and alas now it lies in ruins. A new city hall will eventually be errected which will hopefully be cheaper then the last considering the drain on the city's finances in the last two years.

SNG did manage to not lose the city entirely, the City Hall seems to have been the only loss the city took which is good considering the THEY influence within the city. Now that THEY succeeded in demolishing the city hall, are they done with Syn? Will the penguin-loving citizens return once more to law-abiding, if you can call them that, citizens? Or have we not seen the last of THEY?

VIOLENCE ON THE RISE

Due to recent alliances within the city, violence is rising at a dangerously high rate. Sinners have allied with Omerta and Vipers have allied with DA making the city even more dangerous then it once was. Rather then there being a small gang fight now and again, now it seems that when a fight breaks out, the whole city is involved! There have been several large city fights in recent weeks and it is expected they will continue in the coming weeks. Reports of injuries and violent crimes are coming in left and right with violence and brutality taking place even after the bullets have finished flying. There have even been reports of several dead bodies being found lying in the streets, parks and even on people's front door steps. Several homes and businesses have sustained damages from the large chaotic fights and this is only the beginning. When will the violence end? Will this be the end of Syn city? Will there be anyone left standing by the time the alliances end or will the city be nothing but dust and the remains of dead bodies?

NEW BUSINESSES & THE RETURN OF LENABELLE'S

There has been a rise in new businesses making their way to Syn offering a variety of goods and services. If you've not taken a walk around our city in awhile, you need to! You might be surprised what is now available. The new businesses offer everything from betting and uniforms to pictures and even a spa! Get out and take advantages of these new businesses being in town while they last. We all know unfortunately businesses don't last forever especially with the rising violence.

Speaking of new businesses, we'd like to discuss the return of the infamous Lenabelle's which has recently opened it's doors for business once again. Back in 2013 the only places to work in Syn City, were the bank, city hall, hospital, garage, H4L, motel, synful pleasures and the casino. There was a lack of coffee shops in Syn City. The only places to eat were the pizza shop and a diner which had just been taken down.

Two girls, Annabelle & Selena - being new to the city decided that they didn't really like what jobs were on offer and dreamed of having their own business.

One day they were talking with Dolly about how it would be great to open their own coffee shop. While others laughed at their idea, Anna kept her eyes peeled for available spots to do this and when the right building finally came along - she jumped at the chance to rent it out.

She remembers the day vividly when she brought Selena to view the location. They could not contain their excitement and soon came up with the name " Lenabelle's" which in fact joined both their names together - Selena & Annabelle. Selena was to be the baker and chef while Annabelle took care of decor and building of course!

Lenabelle's originally opened around the 18th February 2013.

Their goal was to make it a cozy homely place, welcoming everyone from all gangs. They came up with a quirky menu to fit the Syn City surroundings such as their best seller, the sexpresso.

Soon enough, it became the popular place to hang out. A favorite for people such as Dolly, Miss Sammy, and Dwight. It also inspired others to do their own business too.

Lenabelle's took in a lot of Brunsen's. With that much profit, Annabelle & Selena recruited many helpers. At which point it moved to the building next door so Anna & Sele could live above the shop in an apartment while also letting their employees stay in the house.

Unfortunately after a few successful weeks, the shop became a target. It had many window replacements from stray bullets. One major damage to the shop was a massive fire by a gang. Destroying the shop and house from top to bottom. Luckily no one was killed.. but it caused the shop to close. The refurbishments cost a lot but people continued to target it and destroy it over and over. Forcing them to close for good.

In 2014, when a historical part of Syn City was discovered, Syn City Destiny Complex was born. There were many opportunities for businesses to have their name in the new complex and with Anna's new position of building manager for the Mayor, she made sure to have her little peace of memorabilia by opening Lenabelle's again.

Although it has sat dormant for weeks now... seeing only a few visitors now and again, Anna would often visit to just sit a while and reminisce about all the memories she had in Lenabelle's with her friend Selena. Secretly wishing she could have the place buzzing like it did in 2013 but lacking the time to do it...

That was until she met Sweet. Syn's very own favorite cook. Sweet approached Anna about opening a new restaurant and she thought - why not use what is already here? After some weeks of planning and redecorating, Sweet agreed to take on Lenabelle's and has brought it back to life.

Today, Lenabelle's stands in between the Sinner's ward and the Canal Ward.. buzzing with customers each day. Although the menu is not quite the same but it has a lot more class, the aromas from the kitchen bring back so many memories. On the wall you can see the very first menu created and an old photograph of Annabelle & Selena in their Lenabelle's uniform when they first opened in 2013.

We encourage you to take part in Syn City's growing economy. Congratulations to the new business owners as well as the return of Lenabelle's and good luck, may your businesses flourish!

Sinners Mc will be hosting a monthly Car Show with the first one being on November 22nd from 2pm to 6pm. There will be prices for Best of Show as well as People's Choice in 3 categories...car, truck, and bike. There's a 10B entry fee for all entries. Even if car shows aren't your "thing" come out and enjoy the free food and beer.

Great news for both of them. However...more news may arrive soon that is not so good news. Seems Ari believes she might be pregnant with Mo's child. Is it true!?! Did Mo get a hoe pregnant and now a Viper baby is on the way?

2. Police Commissioner, Joniel Ireman suffers from a very serious disease known as Bipolar Disorder. It is causing him to be the model police officer one minute and psychotic and violent the next.

3. Syn City's Hottest Male apparently depends on help from a toupee to maintain his good looks having started thinning and forming devil horns at his hairline due to old age.

4. Ace of Omerta has been heard saying that Shawn from DA has a sexy face. Here we thought he was suppose to be getting married to DD. Has Ace jumped the fence and turned to men instead? What about the Omerta babies?

5. Suneyedgirl has been seen in Shawn's bedroom on the third story of his brownstone. Nothing new, we know Shawn loves his women. HOWEVER, the kicker....she's married to Gringo. She's known to spend time in Shawn's home when her husband is out of town. Does Gringo know or does all the city know except him?

6. Ariana is apparently being called a whore behind her back though none have the balls to say it to her face. Yet she claims to have done nothing. Is she as innocent as she says? Comical people throwing stones from glass houses and the pot calling the kettle black isn't it!

7. Rumour has it that the long time single boss, JJ, is fucking Ariana. We doubted he'd ever get over his last girlfriend who's name we now can't even remember. Bout time JJ!

8. Dia may have a crush on Black now seeing as his name had specifically been brought up when some were discussing the upcoming Car Show "hopefully even black could make it". Is it to see his bikes and trucks as she said or is there a more devious reason behind her desire for Black to attend? Since it was only his name she spoke of, it's believed the reason...is the later.

9. Women are sick and tired of the fake men who pretend to be dominant as well as those who are just "clingy boys". With all the lying and cheating going on combined with the aforementioned...issues, tis no wonder there's more woman on woman action. Ladies it's time to start enjoying yourselves again. If you haven't given it a try, go for it...no time like the present to live a little. If you're unsure what to do with a woman, Nonny will be more then happy to meet with you for a little tutoring session. Although, she has recently started talking to an H4L employee named Alex. Guess that whole mixing business with pleasure thing doesn't apply when it's a business such as Hoes4Less.

10. THEY have gone but not departed. THEY will return and THEY are continuing daily to plan the future destruction of Syn City.

RULERS OF SYN CHALLENGE

All have heard the rumours about Vipers being the Rules of Syn. They have heard "We are the rulers of Syn" for years. When approached about the rumour and the suggestion of a challenge was made, Black accepted and a discussion was struck up. Are there any willing to step up to the challenge of a gang or organization choosing five fighters for a scheduled fight? Omerta? Sinners? PD? Who is up for the challenge and title of "Rulers of Syn"? Anyone or will Black's challenge go unanswered? Will Vipers stand uncontested as the "Rulers of Syn"? Any interested gang or organization who is interested in stepping up to the challenge, call the Gazette, let us handle all the dirty details of setting it up for you.

LAST MAN STANDING

For some, Sinners have always been known for their brutal ways like many gangs in Syn but how far are some willing to take it? It's obvious that the Vipers and Sinners are enemies, but when did DA get thrown into the mix? On October 14th, Sinners reportedly set Elixir on fire as well as the Bistro. Eye witnesses reported that they saw Diamond walking out of Elixir with a chainsaw. It is also reported that Celeste and Tosh Fitzcarraldo were a part of the store being set ablaze despite the fact that Tosh is no longer a Sinner. Nothing is completely certain, but why would Diamond be walking out of Elixir with a chainsaw if it wasn't in fact the Sinners that destroyed these lovely and popular restaurants? And why would they attack the DA? Take out all the gangs by starting from the bottom maybe? I guess no one knows beside Celeste and Crisis themselves, but they aren't saying much.

Within minutes of the restaurants being set ablaze, the Vipers showed up to investigate. It didn't take long before a fight broke out between the two gangs. Things went quickly from Moses talking about Celeste's ass to bullets flying when Amber suggested they have a fight though unfortunately the way she worded it can't be recalled...it sounded much better then just suggesting having a fight! In any case, these two gangs are always more then anxious to pick things up a notch...or ten. The fight was lost to the Sinners. Some believe though the numbers were close, the fight a bit unfair due to experience although others believe it was quite the entertaining show with only Nonny and an inexperienced Viper hoe remaining at the end. A good fight was given by all.

SCPD...Brutality or Only Option?

We've all read and heard the accounts of police brutality from our SCPD. Just this week, Khaleesi was accosted and beat severely and once again a citizen of Syn was almost raped by Syn City's finest. When arrested, should a citizen have to worry about being raped or hospitalized upon release? Should they come out looking like they belong in a horror house, not the streets of Syn? No...but...what options do the SCPD have?

Let's look at this from another perspective...say...one citizen shoots an officer when a warrant is being served, they are then charged with attempted murder of an officer. What is one of the worst crimes in the eyes of most officers. What can the SCPD do? They can haul them in and arrest them then charge them a fine. The time they're held...1 hour. The fine...20,000B and loss of G&D License. Now that's all well and good and even those that have been in Syn forever, or what seems like forever, can only afford to pay that so many times but the point is, if you have deep pockets, you can get away with murder...literally...with hardly more then a slap on the wrists.

It was reported last week that SCPD is only allowed to charge for what is on the wall in reference to business licenses so is that true as well for criminal charges? One would think that what is illegal everywhere else, would be illegal here too. According to a member of SCPD, yes...things that are illegal other places such as drug trafficking, are illegal here too. Yes, it'd be nice if we knew ALL that was illegal but since there is only so much paper to fill...use common sense. To refresh your memory, we've included the current SCPD Fines, Bails, and Licenses here:

Violation and Bail List:

*Assault/Attempted Murder of a PD and/or Goverment Official - 20,000B and loss of G&D License
*Attempted Murder - 10,000B and loss of G&D License
*Forgery/Counterfeiting - 10,000B
*Kidnapping - 9,000B and loss of G&D License
*Arson/Bombing - 7,000B
*Assault/Rape - 6,000B and loss of G&D License
*Gun/Drug Trafficking - 4,000B and loss of G&D License
*Grand Theft Auto - 2,000B
*Public Nudity/Intoxication - 1,000B and loss of G&D License
*Breaking & Entering/Trespassing - 1,000B
*Attempting to hide identity from an SCPD - 5,000B
*Extortion - 2,500B/or 2x the attempted amount, whichever is higher
*False Identity - 1,000B
*Property Damage - 1,000/or 2x the value of property damage, which ever is more
(This bail/fine does not include penalties the SCB may enforce.)

So what IS the proper police protocal when someone has broken the law? That depends on the situation. If for example, the officer catches you commiting the crime, you can and probably WILL be arrested on the spot, read your rights and hauled in for processing. The PD officer will only open fire if the arrest is resisted. If a crime happens and the criminal has NOT been processed for that crime, PD will ask a judge for a warrant. If the warrant is approved, the warrant will be served and THEN they will be arrested, read their rights, and hauled in for processing. In processing, you are searched for weapons or other objects, pictures taken, and placed into a cell. Depending on the crime, you may have to serve jail time or get a court date to see a judge. Here's where it gets sticky though...we couldn't get information about when you just serve jail time, get community service, or get a court date. Perhaps something for the new Council to look into?

Taking all of this into consideration and the knowledge of the police brutality that is clearly taking place within Syn, we ask ourselves again...why. Well, there is little else they CAN do. Is it right? No. What is the answer to all of this though? Higher fines? More jail time? Our suggestion, is make the punishment fit the crime. Serve the warrant, haul them in and get them a court date and let the judge decide the punishment. If someone robbed someone because they were literally starving, consider their time served in the hour they were brought in. If someone shot to kill, make them serve 3 days in jail as well as community service. Do NOT rape them for defending themselves. Where is the line drawn? Will this issue be resolved when the new council takes their seat at the large conference table at City Hall or will SCPD be allowed to continue their brutal ways while citizens either suffer unfairly or get away with murder? Don't just sit back and accept the way things are. Make a change, make a difference. This is our home and these are our friends and family.

Who's Nonny Snow Ormidale?

Life in Syn City is never easy. With all the gangs and constant fighting, it makes a very dangerous place to live. Starting out in Syn, was particular hard for Nonny. When she arrived into the big city of Syn, she had an MBA and was looking to strike it big, unfortunately, all that happened was a strike out. She couldn't manage to land a job in the big city, so everyone directed her to none other then, Crissy Forster. At the time, she was the Chief Operating Officer of Hoes4Less and she was looking to hire new girls. Nonny not being able to find anything else, she took the job. At first, everything was okay and she liked her job for the most part. When her pimp left the city, things started to take a turn for the worse. Nonny was made a slave required to do things she wasn't accustomed to doing. After Dina Ormidale shut down all Viper businesses temporarily, things seemed to turn for Nonny.

A pregnant Nonny was taken in by none other then Amber Venom. She was taught how to work in the Viper Garage as a clerk. Not too long after, she had a baby boy named Damian. She was forced to let him go, afraid of what the city could do to him. At the time, Nonny wasn't much of a fighter, but she knew what was right and that was to protect her son and do what was best for him.

It was about then when she met Dolly Swizzle. Dolly pulled her aside one day and told her "Nonny... you can be the best hoe, or the best clerk. You can make all sorts of money and be an asset. But if you want respect, you gotta learn to shoot.". So that is exactly what she did. She bought some guns and started training to learn how to shoot. She shot her way into the Vipers by killing 3 cops and using her MBA to help Amber run Hoes4Less, the docks, and Viper Garage. Nonny was quickly making herself know in the family of Vipers. It was a bumpy road though. Nonny's first fight was not that great. After the fight had ended, she went to Black and apologized for being so terrible. Black looked her in the eyes and said, "Don't worry. No one trained you. I'll fix it." And that is exactly what he did.

Black took Nonny under his wing and trained her how to be the fighter that she is today. When Nonny was finally inducted into the Vipers, Amber brought her out in the middle of Viper Park in the middle of the night. It was dark out, and she couldn't see a whole lot. All the sudden, Black dropped from a tree in front of her and Vipers surrounded her in a circle. Black then walked up to her and said "Look scared girl." Nonny of course was not going to admit that she was scared completely out of her mind and that she probably would have to change pants, so instead she responded with, "I'm not scared. Just anxious. Like a race horse waiting for the gate to open."

This started Nonny's journey into the Vipers. Fighting to get where she is now and be the fighter that she is now. She feels blessed to be able to have a family in the Vipers. But she will always remember where she came from. Dina and Craig Ormidale saved her and helped her to be the person that she is now. Of course she will always consider herself a Viper, but she is a Ormidale as well. If it wasn't for Kyra Noir-Depoer, Amber Venom, and Dolly Swizzle, Nonny probably never would have survived this brutal city.

Now she is running for City Council, is Chief Operating Officer of Hoes4Less, and is in the high ranks of the Viper gang. Her words about her campaign..."My platform is very, very simple. I don't know when this city turned into a Puritan colony, but somewhere along the way it did. The sexy all dried up and blew away. I am on a mission to bring the sexy back. God as my witness, this town will be consumed once more by rampant, ceaseless animalistic fucking, just as He intended. This is Syn City, not My Little Pony Adventure Park."

Nonny's adventures still continue as she figures out what her next move is. Hell, maybe she'll run for Mayor.

1. The whispers in the streets are talking about Vipers and Sinners as is the norm. However anytime two from the rival gangs date or fuck, it deserves to be put on blast and the rumour spread. As rumour has it, Nonny has been fucking several of the Sinner girls. She was spotted at the cafe in the park with Minx from Sinners, the two of them flirting with each other and looking quite cozy and comfortable with each other. ARE they dating? Are they going to be? Will Nonny continue to fuck the other girls from Sinner's she's been sexin? Or is Nonny just...fucking for votes?

2. Possible Viper love is on the rise seeing as one of the Viper staff members has a crush one of the Venom family. I'm sure everyone's met Vipers Bartender and new to the city, Khaleesi....well she has a thing for recently returned Moses Venom. Does he feel the same way? Will they be the next Viper couple pumping out Viper babies? Or does she not have a chance?

3. Shawn is at it again. Seems he's found a lady friend after the loss of his long time love. He's been seen recently with Syn City's quietest stalker, Petal Pettori.

4. It's been a long time coming but after MONTHS or perhaps even years Das seems to have finally opened himself up to love again since him and Crissy broke up more then a year ago. This is known to be true due to the fact that Dan was heard saying "this here is my wife in training kay".

5. The men in Syn are controlled by the women in their lives too afraid to pay for prostitutes for sex and are relying on Sally Palm and her 5 sisters to keep from allowing too much build up to take place. Are there any REAL men in Syn anymore? Men who won't be punished by the women in their lives with lack of sex when they're in the "dog house"? Men who aren't afraid to get their dick wet time to time?

6. The before mentioned possible alliance between SCPD and Vipers has been proven to be untrue. The two have had major encounters in the last week that have found the previous rumour to be A...untrue or B...reading too much information into family ties...blood ties aren't as strong as Gang ties. OR perhaps the family ties have changed and are no more.

7. The Syn City Police Commissioner has been seen harassing AND shooting innocent civilians for no reason. He is currently the subject of an internal investigation.

8. A wedding will be taking place in the coming months. It seems that Ace finally got the balls and asked DD to marry him. Or did DD ask Ace? Anyway...the point is...there will be a wedding...yay! Make sure to congratulate them! More Omerta babies on the way soon!

9. Dia, Sinners VP is single and has set her sights on Jon, the current Police Commissioner. Are Sinners attempting a sort of alliance with SCPD since the alliance between Vipers and SCPD failed? Word is, Dia just get too wet when Jon walks by shirtless looking like a male stripper rather then a cop. We are curious what the Sam's Club size bottle of lube is for though that Dia was seen carrying to Jon's home this past week.

10. Police are seeking an employee of Syn City Hospital who stood by while a Synizen was nearly killed this past week. If anyone has any information on who this mysterious woman in scrubs is encouraged to contact SCPD. This is not the first time that a member of Syn City Hospital staff has been seen or heard not doing their job. They have also stood by and done nothing while a bomb threatened to blow up the entire north end of the city.

SCPD CORRUPTION

Tuesday, a Syn City resident in the attempts of being a good citizen visited the SCPD to verify if she needed a business license to open a business. She was informed that she did and that the price would be an exorbitant amount, 10k Brunsens. Bear in mind that most licenses for businesses such as food and drink are 1k Brunsens, not 10k. She really wanted to open her business again so agreed to pay the money and walked away with a proof of business license purchase. Appalled at the price and recalling when she'd owned the business before, she asked another business owner that has been in business for several months what she'd paid for her license finding out that she hadn't had to pay one at all. When the SCPD was contacted about the situation, she was informed that ALL businesses must have a license and if they do not, that they will be shut down and that the SCPD would be investigating other businesses. When the SCPD was contacted again, they wouldn't comment nor agree to a meeting to discuss the issue.

After the threat of closing down her business, a concerned citizen spoke with the Mayor who denied any knowledge of the license stating "the only licenses approved by council are the ones listed on the wall inside the PD lobby. If you are being asked to pay more then you have a LEGAL problem that quite possibly involves corruption. My advice to you is to show up tonight at 7:30 SLT and enter your complaint in court."

Following the Mayor's suggestion, the concerned citizen did indeed bring it up at the traffic court requesting that the city cease and desist all license enforcement operations until the issue can be resolved fairly and that all sums already collected be put into a holding account so they can be refunded when the case is resolved. The request wasn't agreed to but it did however lead to the following Executive Order by the Mayor

"to the SCPD and City Inspection departments, it is hereby ordered that effectively immediately only the approved fines, fees, licenses and punishments are to be enforced insofar as they cover the range of crimes beyond which only special conditions prevail. The letter of the law is to be respected so that the citizens of Syn City may be well served without confusion as to the possible consequences of their actions. Signed: Your faithful servant, Mayor Whackadeaux Amadeus Allouicious Frederico Billy Bob Claremont Ferdinand Von Destiny III"

According to the Mayor, the SCPD has been prohibited from enforcing anything not posted on PD's walls until this is sorted out.

One prominent figure in Syn advises Citizens who have a complaint and and believe they have been charged wrongly for a license that does or does not exist to seek advice from an attorney. For a list of attorneys, visit the city's website click on G&D License Group and look under "roles". There are fourteen lawyers, of those, about half are still active in the city.

POLICE BRUTALITY

Traffic court Tuesday night while meant to be a way to achieve justice in a city quite lacking in it, didn't end so well for two of Syn City's finest residents, Vincenzo and Alexandria Cipriani. Vincenzo and Alexandria were brought before the court for outstanding warrants. The warrant was for their arrest in an incident that occured last Sunday when the SCPD showed up at the Omerta Casino known as Casa Nova seizing the property and attempting to "extort us for a ridiculous amount of money" according to Alexandria. According to both citizens, the SCPD were the ones to fire first and they merely defended themselves and are now being charged with attempted murder of four SCPD officers. This was only the beginning of trouble for the two. As if things weren't bad enough simply being arrested, what they experienced afterwards, was much worse.

Vincenzo and Alexandria are concerned about the citizens of Syn and worry that they too will have to endure the same kind of police brutality that they were submitted to and still being treated for Wednesday morning at the hospital. Alex states that Officer Austin stripped her and tried to grope her causing her to feel uncomfortable and in the attempt to flee what she felt was nearing rape, got her head banged into a cement wall. Alexandria suffered severe contusions while Vincenzo suffered from a knife wound to the shoulder. According to a Syn City Hospital Doctor, "Alex had a severe concussion that could have only been caused by blunt force contact with her skull. Vince is tall and Alex is short, there's no way without him leaning down that Alex could have stabbed Vince" in their medical opinion. Reports from one concerned citizen stated "People saw them getting in the PD looking fine and I came to bail them out this morning. This is how they came out." referring to the picture to the right.

When the Mayor was questioned about the possibility of police brutality, he stated "Vinc and Alex were taken into custody without incident and left willingly... so I can't imagine the SCPD would have to beat the shit out of them for any reason... My police department is nothing short of professionally trained law enforcement perfection as far as I'm aware."

When the SCPD was contacted.....they stated that the SCPD didn't seize the casino, the bank did for failure to comply with a warrant requiring them to provide proof of their gambling and liquor licenses. When Omerta didn't comply, SCPD was called in to oversee the closing of the Casa Nova bringing about the warrants for both Alex and Vincenzo. When asked who drew and fired first, after viewing street footage, Omerta were the first to draw their weapons and the first to fire. When asked about the brutality in question, the officer stated "it is a pending investigation and as such cannot comment on that case as of yet. all I can say is they were arrested for their warrants they had for 4 counts of attempted murder on police officers."

There you have it...both sides of the story according to what information could be obtained, what do you think?

SYN CITY MAYOR & COUNCIL ELECTIONS 2014

That's right Synizens it's time for elections once again! If you're hoping to run for Mayor or Council, time is running out. Posters and blimps have been popping up all over the City in an attempt to win YOUR vote from the favored bridge, to residential homes and public buildings. No building is safe from the campaign posters. However, unfortunately, elections thus far seem to be quite the disappointment considering the amount of candidates for both positions as well as a lack of debates compared to last year's elections. There is very little Synizens know about this years runners and where they stand on current and possible future issues. Most posters seeming to have the mindset of "Why not". Whereas last year there were posters that told what they'd do if elected or the changes they'd make. You knew the stand they took on certain issues. Where's that this year? How are citizens suppose to vote without knowing who they're voting for other then a picture, a name, or simply because someone's a friend. Candidates...can we get some information please? Syn City Gazette will do what we can but time is running out!

So far the Mayor seems to be uncontested in the Mayoral race. Is there anyone willing to face off Syn City's current Mayor Whack in the upcoming elections? In looking at the posters and signs plastered around town it would seem the candidates for council are as follows, in no specific order; Vincenzo Cipriani, Carensia Hudson, Lamont Enyo, Hysteria, and Nonny. Are these candidates all Syn City has to offer? Have you wanted to improve the conditions of our lovely city and have wonderful ideas how to do so? Do you know someone you think would be a great politician? Let them know. Don't be afraid, have a voice, make a difference...run for Mayor or Council. One person CAN make a difference!

Voting for the Mayoral and Council elections will take place October 15th - 18th with the winner to be announced at the event on the 18th. More information to come as it becomes available.

1. Black of the Vipers had to drink some JD and take his blood pressure pills when he found out the recent news of Nonny being Dina's adopted daughter. Needless to say, he was NOT happy. However, considering Amber's relationship with their son, Dwight...it's making citizens wonder...just how much pull DO Vipers have with the SCPD and the city? Now that the council isn't made of up of mostly Vipers, are they finding other ways of keeping control? Talk about sleeping with the enemy..or are they not the enemy they would have us all believe?

2. "Shawny chases anything with a pussy, doesnt even have to have two legs from what i heard."

3. I've got big balls. You've got big balls but someone's got the biggest balls of them all! Let's play a game...name those balls! If you guessed Arrow, you win...absolutely nothing but you win!

4. Omerta is broke! Rumour has it they couldn't afford to pay the rent on the casino which is the reason SCPD shut it down this past week. To make matters worse after the battle that ensued, Omerta's funds are running extremely low and they'll be looking for ways to make a buck.

5. Business licenses aren't the only licenses that SCPD has been charging for that haven't been approved by city council.

6. JJ's been seen living the life every man wants to have...two women..one man. Here we wondered where he'd been hiding...no wonder he's been staying at home so much! You would too!

7. Seems the connection between the Ormidales and SCPD that have been rumoured in the streets are true as Nonny was heard consoling Police Chief Distansa. Get into the family and you have friends in the PD...that's how it goes! Vipers...SCPD...there's connections and loyalties between the two popping up all over the city. Anyone else notice that no Vipers were arrested in court this week?

8. SCPD employees treated by Syn City Hospital fail to pay their bills after the hard work and dedication of the staff there.

9. Apparently the buzz around town is that Diabolus boss, Izzy is retiring. What does this mean for DA and their businesses? Will this make it easier for another gang or mafia to rise up and reak havoc on the city?

10. Rumour has it that the Mayor's mind has started to deteriorate since being in office and his wife Fiona had him institutionalized for therapy. He has been seen talking to himself in a mirror trying to save "this man" from his demons. This is NOT good with the upcoming elections but with no one running against him...are we all fucked?

11. An old lady moved into town and has been seen staying with Alex and Vincenzo Cipriani. It is believed she's heard the rumour of the brother and sister sleeping together and has come to town to straighten her grandkids out and beat some sense into them.

12. Carensia spent all of her AND Lamont's money on shoes and they had to move into a camper in the old trailer park. Doubt there's room for all those shoes in that tiny little space.

13. Vipers are taking the law into their own hands. Sunday night one of their members scalped a pig. Darren was scalped because of what he did to Amber. Mo was seen in the park wearing it on his head. Is the beloved man going a little fruity to the looty? It's almost as if he has a double personality. Wearing the scalp on his head one minute and perfectly fine the next having no recollection of the events.

14. There's a reason you haven't seen Vipers and Sinners going at it as much as usual lately. Apparently there's something going on between Sinners President, Celestia and Vipers Boss, Sam. It isn't clear exactly what but we do know there's hair pulling involved and NOT the unfun kind! You decide the rest yourselves...wink wink.

15. Want your business opened back up or a permit or license renewed? The answer's simple, kidnap someone near and dear to Dina. Word is, she'll offer to get you what you need in exchange for the release.

The election season brings out the best and the brightest of the city, hoping for a chance to serve and improve our lives. It also brings out the greedy and power hungry, hoping for a huge helping of our tax dollars. As we consider who to vote for in the upcoming elections let's all think about the importance of casting the right vote. Your vote is private, nobody sees it, so why give your vote to someone you know will not serve the best interests of all the citizens? Instead let's do the right thing this time and vote for a new tomorrow, a righteous and enlightened government free of the greed and abuses of the current administration.

In only one short year we've seen our city annex more land than services can cover, leading to higher taxes and hidden taxes like bail for invented crimes. We've seen incredible rebuilding and revitalization in the entire city and I'm all for that but at what cost? In only a short conversation with bank President Dina Ormidale I discovered that the city is hopelessly in debt, in fact given the interest rate and the current level of repayment the city is actually going FURTHER into debt with every passing month.

It is true that huge improvements have been had in almost every area of the city, especially in city government, with more enforcement and lower overall crime than ever before, but that's just not what we're here for is it? Let's use our votes this time to send a clear message for change. I'm voting for Whackadeaux Amadeus Allouicious Frederico Billy Bob Claremont Ferdinand Von Destiny III, because with him, change is the only constant.

WAR ON VIOLENT CRIME
PHASE 3: THE VIPERS

The Mayor's Office, in continuing his recent cracking down on gang activity started phase 2 on Tuesday when Viper Headquarters and all businesses were closed and seized by the Mayor's Office and Syn City Bank according to the large stop sign shaped signs plastered on the openings and doors. According to some sources, the account of Viper Boss, Black Venom has been frozen and the city is requesting more taxes. The docks, Viper Garage, and H4L have all been affected.

The seizing looks much like the same process used back at the end of February when they shut down all Sinner businesses, froze their bank accounts and liquidated their headquarters. Sinners have since then regained possession of their businesses though they did lose their hq in the process. There was a rumour that came out at the same time saying that Oso and Vipers would be next. With Oso now gone, we can assume phase 2 of the Mayor's War on Violent Crime campaign, his attentions have now turned to the Vipers though some speculate that both the new Chief of Police Distansa as well as Dina, the CEO of Syn City Bank are both behind the financial attacks on Vipers. Though at this time, this information is unconfirmed.

What will be the Vipers' response? Will they lose their beloved hq as well? Will they be run out of town like Oso? It remains to be seen as of yet but all know Vipers will not go down without a fight and the violence in Syn will be increasing before decreasing, of that you can be certain. They have already taken over the old city hall as their new HQ. Despite the lack of activity from the well known MC, everyone knows that the Viper family won't give up without a fight. If it's a fight the City wants, it is a fight they will get. Be alert for more information, as this is just the beginning of Phase 3 on the War on Violent Crime.

New Apartments for Rent

RECEIPTS BETA RESULTS

The official Receipts Beta Program came to a conclusion on March 15th but with the success of the program, it seems that the Receipts Program created by Deputy Mayor Dolly Swizzle will remain in affect as decided at the past Council meeting. The Beta was a complete success and the City Council couldn't have hoped for better results. There was a total of 215 receipts and 54,910 Brunsens spent. They would like to thank all the Synizens and businesses that participated and hope for continued participation.

CARNIVAL COMES TO SYN

This Friday Sinners brought the Carnival to Syn and for the first time in years members of all gangs within the city were able to come together and enjoy each other's company while having fun! Surprisingly enough, the event went off without any bullets being shot or fights breaking out. It lasted from 11 am to 5 pm and was a great success! The carnival was fun for all who came. The booths included in the carnival were a dunking booth, fortune telling, kissing booths both male and female, a carousel, ferris wheel, balloon darts, iron man, cotton candy, sno-cones, popcorn, sausage dogs, and hamburgers. The most popular seemed to be the dunking booth, cotton candy and fortune telling. Sinners brought in approximately 600 Brunsens at the event. Let's hope there's more amazing events like this in the future!

However according to recent police questioning, the event didn't go without a hitch as first thought. Saturday, they spent the day questioning various citizens about the hot dogs being contaminated with a drug that causes increased horniness levels. Could this be the new drug being called "Happy Juice" that's being rumoured to have hit the streets causing increased horniness as well as hyper activity? The investigation is still underway at this time, check next week's issue for more information.

WISEGUYS TALENT SHOW & AUCTION

Sunday night Wiseguys was packed with Synizens as they came together to enjoy good fun and good drinks at their Talent Show & Auction event. The event lasted a couple hours and was hosted by DA's Raven and Jessica. The first part of the event was a talent show in which Synizens were able to show off their skills in competing for a prize totaling 3k Brunsens! Coming in at first place was Doc with his delightful tunes from Rocky Horror picture show which earned him 2k. In second there was a tie between Jezebel and Lil Shyly one of Syn's newest citizens awarding them 500 Brunsens each.

After the talent show portion while the judges decided the winners, there was an auction in which the lovely men and women of DA were auctioned off to the highest bidder. Some of the ones bidding on them came as quite the shock but needless to say fun was to be had by all! With the bar packed and the bartender unable to keep up with the orders, you can imagine the chaos.

Syn City's favorite newspaper, Syn City Gazette is now available online for those who have subscriptions at http://syncitygazette.blogspot.com. There's still more work to be done so things are not final yet but we didn't want to hold back any longer seeing as there's some that's been wanting us to be online since we started. SYNFUL PLEASURES

Synful Pleasures hosts events every Saturday from 7 - 9 pm SLT and Sundays from 12 - 2 pm SLT. Saturday, all those sooooo NOT innocent citizens of Syn pretended innocence, in costume at least, with their World of Disney event. Synizens came dressed as their favorite Disney characters. From princes and princesses to short dwarves, all enjoyed the unique event. Winners of the contest were Anna, Ricky, and Jess.

Sunday it was Good vs Evil, Heaven and Hell, Angels and Demons and there was a good mix of all the above. Whether citizens chose to reveal their true selves or pretend if only for a few hours to be something else, needless to say, they were hott in doing so. Winners of the contest were Dia, Ricky, and Care.

This past Saturday, Synizens threw a rave at Synful Pleasures. Lights were shining, music thumping and glow sticks and hoola hoops all over the place. The neon in the darkness was amazing and a nice change from the norm. Winners of the contest were Morgynn a visitor to Synful Pleasures as of late, Arrow, and Dia.

Sunday after the recent carnival, Synful Pleasures decided to host a circus event inviting Synizens to come dressed in their finest, or craziest, circus attire. From ring leaders to carousels to clowns, it was up to the citizens. Many were in attendance and Jess, Anna, and Crisis walked away with the prizes.

Local DA member Kiely Islay lived a hard life as a child with an abusive mother and a father that stood by and did nothing. When he was a teenager, he fled Ballymena in Northern Ireland with very little education having left at the age of 14. His life a day to day struggle camping out in abandoned buildings scrounging and doing whatever he had to for food and water. Each day a new struggle with the same theme...survive.

Until one day when all that would change and they approached him. They...what was first a lone man bringing him food and water soon turned into odd requests for Kiely to do. What started as simple jobs with seemingly no importance soon went from dropping off packages and picking up money to stealing anything that could be turned into money. Though Kiely knew what he was doing, he had little choice other then to continue striving day to day to merely survive, if one could call it that. The man who he worked for was his only lifeline, his only way of easing that struggle so Kiely did what he had to despite the moral dilemma he faced with each theft committed.

His criminal activities had escalated to robbing shipments from docks and store trucks and stealing cars. He met others that were like him doing the same types of jobs. By the age of 18 he learned just exactly how far they wanted them to go. It was on the night that they were sent to murder a city councilman and him being the longest member of the recruits tasked with leading the hit and following through with it that he knew he was in too far. The jobs ketp coming with higher risks muggings and targeted beatings. He was the one to teach people lessons. The things he did still haunt him to this day. He knew he was in too far and needed to get out but knew not how to go about it until a man approached him saying he could help him find a way out but it would take time and until then his work didn't cease. He learned ways to beat people int he most extreme of ways while keeping it non-lethal.

Six years after meeting the man who was an Officer of some sort, his opportunity finally arrived but it meant betraying his family, the other recruits who he'd gotten close to, the closest thing to family he'd had, any of them had had in a long time. The good days they'd had together haunting him as did his choice he must make. In the end there was little choice to make, he wanted out. He was done.

Now having to start over once again with a heavy heart and a painful past, he was free though needing mending. He found what he needed in Syn when he joined DA. Syn for him was a city of hope which held the potential for love and family where he can live a life free from crime and is haunting past. He'd done what he had to do no more, no less but even knowing that it still weighs heavy on his heart and threatens allowing him to live his life making what he'd had to do a waste. With a new family and all the opportunities that now lie ahead of him, he dares to dream though his dream is simple. His goal...happiness, being happy doing what he wants to and one day seeing the problems here in Syn fixed. His dream, should he find someone with whom he connects enough to consider such would only add to that happiness. He would love to marry one day and have kids giving him the chance to have a real family of his own to go along with his adopted family the DA. His message to Syn...well that's simple as well "Buy me a drink!"

1. When DA has their "Underwear Day" things get crazy...from Miley Cirrus wannabe's to men in thongs and cocks swinging. Needless to say...booze, DA, and Underwear Day...makes for craziness.

2. Celest is out of town getting her penis removed according to local rumour according to JJ and DD. Although, perhaps her and Crisis were successful in their baby making attempts and she's been under the weather instead? Penis removal or a bun in the oven...you decide.

3. Mylar of the SCPD is in a companionship with DA's Brucey. I've been hearing rumours that Brucey was with Ricky....the city wonders how well she does with sharing.

4. There's been an increase in horniness levels in Syn the past week in both males and females. The cause is still unknown but seems to affect DA more then other gangs. Could it be due to their fun days such as Underwear Day or mere coincidence? That wasn't the case Friday at the carnival though when even Sinners were screaming out they were horny and stripping off their clothes.

5. Joniel Ireman, the Governor's nephew has been named as the new Police Commissioner and will be responsible for handling the SCPD's paperwork. Some city officials except to get favors easily from the Governor now due to the recent promotion.

6. Sinners are more then displeased with the progress being made to the City. They're complaining about the building being done to the city rather then focusing on the accomodation of the new lands. A rather loud argument could be heard from outside Dia's nail salon in which Sinner's VP Dia voiced her complaints even going so far as to call the Mayor crooked. The Mayor in response told Dia, in not so kind words same as she'd given him that he didn't appreciate what she was saying and refused to do business with her. He did however inform her that the plans to acquire the new land were still underway. The argument was quite heated and clients feared bullets flying at any time.

7. The park located in the uptown district of the city previously known as Oso Park, Viper Park, DA Park, and most recently Ireman Park has again been renamed to Fail Park.

8. Ender was recently heard stating "My bum still hurts from dist a little". What EXACTLY did the new Police Chief do to poor Ender and will his ass ever be the same again?

9. Shawn apparently either forgot where he lived or forgot his keys after a night of drunken fun and had to crawl in his window apparently just barely getting inside before passing out...well, most of the way inside anyway. It is rumoured he's already sampled the new drug, happy juice.

10. Syn has a new playboy in town, girls all over him and him flirting with every single one. Is it you? Are you one of the ones being played? Needless to say, Scar wants to fuck him and rumour is, Crissy already has. Who else does? And why is Ender calling him a whore. Perhaps it should be manwhore rather then playboy.

11. There's a new hero in town. One who fights for the good of the citizens. She's here to protect those in need! Her name? Do do do "Bat Girl!"
12. Arrow from DA thinks that Diamond, Sinner Vice President is beautiful and has a high school crush on her. Who knows perhaps soon the fighting between Sinners and DA might cease.

13. Rumor has it Sinners can't keep their men in line, or next to them for that matter although...Crisis has managed to successfully knock up Cel. According to one resident, "Sinner's ladies are having men trouble, like their men walking out on them." Wow...there you have it....should soon be hearing word of more single Sinners.

14. Officer Kenny is corrupt and beat up on Synizen for no reason breaking two fingers and dislocating her shoulder. He's also been shagging someone as of late but it's unknown who. Perhaps whoever he's fucking disliked the girl he beat up and was too chicken shit to do it herself?

15. JJ is cheating on Lynsey with newcomer DA member, Scar. Apparently she's been caught sucking him off in his chair. Dia, Arrow, and Becca as well as others seen the picture proving such.

16. As we all know, the Mayor is currently pushing to eliminate some of the violence in Syn but according to one source, the city employees are the ones causing violence. It's rumoured that Distansa is a dirty dirty whore who claims to be working within the "Law" spouting how she wants to see violence abolished from the streets and yet two days in a row she's gone to the park, taken a DA member away and leaves them bloody and bruised. Don't worry the two DA members are fine now but is the new Police Chief using her position to satisfy her sadistic fetish needs?
