STRING OF FIRES
The same can't be said for Sinners HQ where the flames grew quickly engulfing all from the look of it. The heat from the flames could be felt buildings away but the extent of the damage is unknown. Apparently the Vipers REALLY enjoy reading the Gazette and was pissed about the attack of the molotov or they just wanted to flex their muscles against the Sinnoso alliance but in any case, the fire won't quickly be forgotten.
Late the same night the DA Headquarters was set on fire as well though the flames were extinguished before the Gazette could obtain a picture. Then again this weekend, yet another fire took place when a car parked beside Wise Guys exploded seemingly out of nowhere! The fire department was called but never responded as the flames continued to engulf the car. Let this be a reminder...check your batteries in your smoke detectors to ensure they're working properly and don't leave your cars parked in the open unattended apparently.
NEW YEAR, NEW BEGINNINGS
Several Synizens have decided to start the new year off with big changes. They're changing jobs and gangs and many in just this past week. Sariel, Sav, and Absinthee have left DA due to a difference of opinion and joined Oso swapping places with Shawn and his wife, Serena who left Oso and joined DA. Shawn left Oso because "I didn't like the direction Oso was going in so I decided to take a position with DA because I saw I could help them. Also, they have a better health plan." One of possibly the biggest upsets for Oso this week though was losing Serena to the Vipers who some believe may be a long lost Venom. Though when asked why she left, she stated "hmm tuff question, I just may say that my root was not there I find myself following another path, I may just say that I do not share their same objective anymore, so with Sgt Maya I want to find my real self, as we are working on something". She didn't want to reveal too much information but did go on to say that she doesn't believe she is a sister in blood but she does plan to work alongside Maya to see if the Viper tablets are true and will reveal a way to reach peace in Syn City.
Also this week in gang related news...Snarkie was promoted to Captain while some Viper members were bumped up the rank ladder as well. Will there be more big life changes coming soon for some Synizens? Is this just the beginning? Only time will tell.
BANK ROBBED
Late in the night Saturday night, Syn City banked was robbed by masked figures, many of which were blondes. A police bike was used in the robbery as well as one of Syn City's own officers. In looking at the photos, it seems Officer Distansia was indeed part of the robbery but it's unknown why she was the only one unmasked. Perhaps she pissed off the others and they stripped her down to nothing but her panties? Something did go wrong though when she appeared to fall to the floor moments before two masked figures fought outside the bank. Needless to say, it didn't seem the most organized crime and that there was turmoil within the group. Whoever did the robbery, wasn't a close knit group to be sure. One of the masked figures, what appears to be a male with a skull mask, is someone that's held Synizens at gunpoint and robbed them before. He was in one of our previous issues after shooting two people and robbing them. The amount stolen is unknown at this time.

Syn City's favorite newspaper, Syn City Gazette is now available online
for those who have subscriptions at

so things are not final yet but we didn't want to hold back any longer
seeing as there's some that's been wanting us to be online since we
started. Any questions, concerns, or ideas...contact us. We want to hear

SYNFUL PLEASURES
Synful Pleasures hosts events every Saturday from 7 - 9 pm SLT and Sundays from 12 - 2 pm SLT. This past week however, they also held their New Year's Eve Bash Tuesday night. DJ Red played the tunes while Hoes 4 Less girls danced and Crissy auctioned off volunteers for a date night. The highest paid auction was our own Deputy Mayor, Dolly Swizzle who went for a whole 2,000 L's. Synizens enjoyed ringing in the new year together with those they care about and have come to see as family. There is nothing like watching the ball drop, counting down the seconds to the new year with those you love.
Saturday was great fun when Synful Pleasures hosted their Cartoons from the 70's, 80's, and 90's event with awesome costumes from the cartoons of our childhoods. DJ Amber spun great hits while forcing us all to use our brains and remember the cartoons we grew up loving with her Cartoon Trivia while Jess danced for Synizens entertainment. If you missed it...you totally missed out! Winners of the contest were Steff, Death, and Wolf!
Sunday, everyone was gettin' their grove on as they took a ride on the train to funky town at Synful Pleasure's 70's Disco event! DJ Jess took us back several decades while Amber kept it groovy hosting. From Gogo dancer outfits to afro's and bell bottoms, all had fun boogin' to the beat. Winners of the contest were Crissy, Fi, and Amber!

Coming to us from a small town in the middle of nowhere just north of Syn City, this week's Who's Who is Amber Venom. Amber wasn't always of the venom family though she did grow up in a biker household. Her father was abusive and far too over protective where boys were concerned. To make life easier for her and her family, she wore unflattering clothing and tried her best to do everything she could to keep from having her father's anger focused on her. On a day just like any other, a male friend of hers was walking her home from school and kissed her on the cheek before leaving. Amber's father seen it through the window and changed Amber's life forever that day when he shot her mother and little sister and came back for Amber. When all looked lost, the cops arrived in time to save Amber and though she was placed in foster care, atleast she was away from her father.
She spent some time working at a tattoo shop learning the ways of the craft while her father supposedly served time in jail for life. In memory of her mother and sister, she got the angel wings tattooed on her back but Amber's life was far from over, after some time, she felt it was time to move on and took what little money she had from working at the tattoo shop and hopped on a bus unsure where she'd get off. When it stopped in Syn, she stared at the help wanted sign at the Viper garage contemplating her next step when Dolly started pushing her inside. She met several people there and obtained a job but having nowhere to stay spent the night at the church. The next day, her life once more took a sad turn when she was raped by a masked assailant who took her virginity leaving her something more precious in return, her son Ashton though she thought it was Alister's having met him the day after. She went most of the pregnancy believing her wonderful son to be Alister's while she continued to work her way up through the Vipers to supporter and finding Ricky who took a mother like role in her life. After things went sour with Alister, she ended up living with Three as protection but it developed into something more. The first time they made love was when little mannerisms, the way he did things, said things reminded her of the night she'd been raped and she soon realized that Three...the man she was living with and cared about...the one who was protecting her from her ex was the same man who'd raped and impregnated her. At a loss as what to do, she stayed with the man she'd grown to love and care for until things went south and Three went back to using crack and things worsened. Eventually Amber had to choose between Three and the Vipers choosing her family and quickly sending her son off for his own protection.
Life wasn't done throwing curve balls at Amber, as soon as things started to improve, she was ran over by a man named Marty giving her a broken pelvis, bruised lived and doing major damage to the skin on her belly. The accident lead to Ricky and Lamonte adopting Amber so she'd have a next of kin in the city. When Ricky and Lamonte separated, Amber and Ricky's mother daughter relationship grew. Life wasn't happy for long, shortly after the accident, Alister resurfaced and came after Amber shooting her, it was when she was filing a restraining order against him that she met Edward, her current love, husband and future father of her child.
Here she is two years after the birth of her first son, Aston...6 weeks pregnant and married to Edward planning a Viper-style wedding. Amber and Edward married in secrecy at a small church out of town as a means of protection and recently broke the news to her family. Plans for the wedding and the birth of their child are already under way. The date for the wedding hasn't been decided yet but will hopefully be in the next couple of weeks with the theme being Leather & Lace and the event taking place at Synful Pleasures. Be sure to give the happy couple your blessings...Amber's come a long way and gone through a lot before finally having a big day all her own. When asked what she had to say to Syn City..."I just want to say...I have been told many times, I am not like the other Vipers...that I shouldn't be a Viper...that I don't fit in with them. One of those is now a Viper supporter. I have been around long enough to know that people in this city need to stop living in the past. Yes, there were Vipers that gave the Club a bad name...in the past. Everyone calls us the bullies, they have their alliance..blah blah blah. I think people need to look in the mirror, and see that what they claim us, the Vipers, to be..is just what they themselves have become in an effort to..." quote "Bring us down." unquote. "I have grown up a lot in the last 2 years, all because of what I have seen...and done in this city, but..I could never see myself in another club, gang, whatever you want to call it. I have yet to see any of the others show this kind of a family support and attitude that the Vipers have."
"Beyond everything I am, City Councelor, Synful Manager, Mother, Wife...I am Viper to the core and that won't change till they put me in the ground."

2. Mike's brother's, wife's, daughter's uncle is related to a Viper and he is Sere's brother who is Carlos' sister. Carlos' wife is sleeping with Carlos' brother known as Jack. Sooooo Mike is related to Vipers, Sere is related to Vipers and Jack is fucking his brother, Carlos' wife. So are Jack and Carlos related to Vipers as well? Vipers hope not. Oh and to top it all off...Layla is Mike's twin so Sere has a sister as well!
3. Sere has left Oso and is contemplating working for City Hall.
4. Moretti's is no longer owned by DA but is now owned by the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Turlte Power!!!
5. Mike and Snarkie are married according to some. It's been stated that the hate they seem to have for each other is passionate lust. She's asked all to "please leave us alone so we can be happy damn it!" Is this true? Could this be why Mike is unavailable? Well apparently it's no longer just behind closed doors...this week, they came out in the open and the baby making plans are already underway. It's their hope to have a dozen kids in under 9 years. Be sure to send all wedding gifts to the penthouse by the Casino and the Gazette will inform you when the first baby shower is planned.
6. Roaches aren't the only living things gathering in Sinners HQ other then Sinners, so are termites as rotting pieces of wood were replaced with discarded boards.
7. Oso's finances have taken a hard hit due to the lack of traffic at the casino and wise guys forcing them into an alliance in an attempt to increase their profit through the gathering of ransoms. Perhaps this has to do with the reason they have lost three members this past week?

The Seventh Collar
Written by: Hyst
He works at the feet of his Mistress, his hands a blur and back hunched over. The metal pieces scattered around his folded legs are misshapen from his struggle with the inferior tools She has purposefully provided. Nonetheless, perfection is expected.
His hands move back and forth, hovering over each tool in silent indecision although he knows these implements of his task by heart.
This is his seventh attempt.
Settling on one, he holds a metal piece tightly and begins to shape it with the most minuscule of cuts. A drop of sweat from his brow splashes on the metal and he is keenly aware of his Mistresses observation.
She misses nothing and he avoids Her gaze to keep his hands from shaking. The shaking has been the source of his failure six times before.
Cutting and polishing, each piece as precious as the last, he only slows his pace to carefully inspect his progress before continuing. His eyes focused sharply on his creation there is no longer anything else in his awareness but the metal…and the soft sound of Her breath above him crashing like the ocean’s surf against his brow.
Hours pass and Her attendants come and go offering Her refreshment and entertainment never once acknowledging him. He is unaware of their presence as the window of his wanting triumph starts to close.
Sweat burns his eyes and his hands start their traitorous shaking but he does not pause. The pieces glimmer in the light of Her candles and are only in need of the fitting together into the final shape. Despite the lateness of the hour, he carefully connects one piece to the last until all but two are in sinuous line.
A final polish with a worn but soft rag and his work is complete.
Still in kneeling form, legs numb from the hours at Her boot, he holds his work in the palms of two calloused and dirty hands. Raising them above his bowed head he presents them to Her, the metal a glorious contrast to his flesh.
Even with head bowed, eyes blurred and back torturously bent, he can see that his seventh attempt is beautiful beyond any hope he had. This settles him and his arms steady as he awaits Her learned inspection.
An eternity passes before She speaks. In a strong voice without hint of emotion She tells him to look at what he has done.
Anxiety fills him, purging the peace he had rested in and his eyes move to the object of importance.
The collar is precious. It’s look is delicate as it seemingly floats in his hands, an illusion for he knows the strength of each link. The metal pieces had been shaped into filigreed knots, each one unique in its form but perfectly fitted to the link before it and the one behind. The candlelight is the perfect companion and causes a warm glow to emanate from the white gold used in its crafting.
Her soft exhale of satisfaction brings tears to his eyes and She tells him to come closer.
His pain and numbness forgotten, he crawls gracefully toward Her, settling close at Her hip, his face merely inches from her breast. As he settles his hands holding the collar on her lap, She leans forward and unlocks the old and weathered collar around his neck. For the briefest of moments his first collar clings to his neck, almost as if desperate to stay, then slides to the floor at Her feet.
He at once feels naked and vulnerable despite the apparent strength in his muscled body. Tense, he waits for Her to replace it with his creation but minutes pass and his neck is still bare.
At once She rises to a standing position above him accompanied by the soft tinkles from the collar in Her hand. He looks up to Her in confusion as She lifts the collar to Her own neck.
The look of pride and humility in her eyes trigger a shift in His mind. Old thoughts and instincts rise to the surface and He stands slowly, allowing time for His legs to accommodate His weight again. Once upright, He reaches forward covering her hands with His and exerting enough pressure to move the collar in her hands the rest of the way to her neck. In concerted movement, perfectly as O/one, they fasten the collar around her neck.
B/both breathless, the air is still and only the sounds of two heartbeats echo in the chamber.
Wrapping His form in the cloak of Domination He places His hand on her shoulder, pushing her to her knees before Him. She looks up at His handsome and powerful visage, a swoon of love and desire move her.
He has taken this challenge, unafraid in His Dominance. Never once succumbing to rage nor uttering complaint. At T/their unaccustomed reversal He is made even stronger in His victory over submission.
He takes a leash, attaches it to her bittersweet collar and sits in the chair still warm from her body. Pulling the leash He guides her to the spot before Him where He once toiled. She awaits His pleasure as His attendants bath and clean His hands, massaging His back and bringing Him refreshment.
Taking a handful of something from a container seated next to Him He reaches toward her opening His hand. Hundreds of pieces of misshapen metal bounce off her lap and the floor around her.
Settling on one, she holds a metal piece tightly and begins to shape it with the most minuscule of cuts.
