SCPD & CITY HALL OPEN
The Gazette would like to post a retraction for last week's article about the PD opening. What was believed to be the opening was merely the announcement of a new PD on the rise. Tuesday, the new PD building was officially opened to both the PD and the public when they had the Grand Opening where the Mayor and Deputy Mayor made the announcement. It was believed that it had been opened last Sunday when the Mayor and Deputy Mayor announced the new building but apparently, it wasn't opened until this week.
In other big news, Destiny Tower I, the new City Hall is now open as well with the Grand Opening to take place in the near future though the date of the event hasn't been decided as of yet. The building will be the City Hall, Courtroom, and be the home of other businesses and offices as well. There will be offices available to rent as well as a conference room/banquet hall. If you'd like more information about either, contact the Mayor's office or the city manager, Lynsey Werefox.
SINNER'S HQ COMMANDEERED
Sinners Hq has been commandeered by the Mayor of Syn City to be demolished and Destiny Tower Two put in it's place. The Mayor was kind enough to offer them the use of the Fire Department as a temporary location although some wonder why they don't just move in with Oso. The painting on the signs posted by the Mayor's office shows that Sinners are clearly not happy with the Mayor's decision. Despite all the Mayor's hard work, his approval rating is dropping at a steady rapid pace. His slogan "At any cost" becoming quite the annoyance to many. The plan however, is to have Sinners take over the Fire Department which will provide them with a headquarters while at the same time giving Syn City an active fire department and someone to call when the fires erupt.
COUNCIL MEETING
The council had their first official meeting at the new City Hall this past Thursday night. First on the agenda was a vote on the final version of Deputy Mayor Dolly's Economic plan. The beta program passed 4-0 by the council and will go into effect February. Actual specifics about the program that will assist businesses will be revealed by the Deputy Mayor this coming week. Mayor Whacked Destiny then brought the council up-to-date regarding statuses on the brand new City Hall which will contain office rentals for those who seek a safe, quiet professional environment to get some work done. Councilor Dina expressed her concerns over the costs of these projects as the Mayor reassured her how necessary it was. The Mayor also boasted about the newer, greener PD and recommended the handyman Mr Su for future city projects. Former Mayor Kali joined the council meeting to discuss the new land, inconsistencies and criticisms of Safe Zones. The discussion over Safe Zones and the new land the city has acquired will be resuming in the council meetings ahead.

Syn City's favorite newspaper, Syn City Gazette is now available online
for those who have subscriptions at
http://syncitygazette.blogspot.com. There's still more work to be done
so things are not final yet but we didn't want to hold back any longer
seeing as there's some that's been wanting us to be online since we
started. Any questions, concerns, or ideas...contact us. We want to hear

SYNFUL PLEASURES
Synful Pleasures hosts events every Saturday from 7 - 9 pm SLT and Sundays from 12 - 2 pm SLT. Saturday everyone got a lil bit country for a night at the Grand Ole Opry with yeehaws, straw, hay bales and country tunes. There was thigh slappin, dosey doein, and cowboy hats! Winners were Death, Amber, and Krysten!
Sunday...it was back to the classics...classic rock that is. Synizens had to think about who their favorite classic rock artist might be and do their best to look like them for the contest as DJ Jessica kept everyone rockin with some of the most popular classic rock music. One Synizen took the contest a bit literally when they came dressed as an actual rock. The winners were Ace, JJ, and Care!

Some of you love her...many of you hate her but at the end of the day, even the cops are a part of Syn City and the same is true when it comes to Deputy Police Chief Distansa who is also currently filling the role of Police Chief due to Chief Fyng's unexplained absence. She wasn't always the one to be hated or even feared but started her young life out as many of us girls do....with hopes and dreams that one day she'd meet the Prince Charming that was meant for her and find love. When she was 10, she had loving parents, a sister she hated but yet loved and would do anything for at the same time, lots of friends and a dog named Frodo. She was popular in school always doing well on her school work, active on sports teams, the overall perfect student. Everyone loved her, even the teachers. On a night like any other though...that all changed when her family were taken hostage at a bank robbery. All was going well and though they were stuffed in a white get-a-way van, weren't injured and it seemed they'd soon be released when there was an accident and the van crashed. She woke to find herself covered in blood and what remained of her family...all killed except for her who in a last chance effort to save his daughter, her father had sheltered her body with his own.
A nearby hobo pulled her from the wreckage saving her life, the memory of the look of anguish on her sister's face as she got dragged away moments before the van exploded seem to haunt her to this day. Thankfully for her, the hobo that had pulled her from the carnage had been a doctor before losing everything to his ex wife and he tended to her wounds nursing her back to heath. Physically, she was fine though mentally...was another story. She became silent...not uttering a single word for 5 years. She had no one and no one knew she existed...for all they knew she had been destroyed in the fire. The hobo taught her the ways of the streets, valuable lessons in life that she'd never have had the opportunity to learn in her perfect life such as "when a gang comes around not to piss them off or when a bigger stronger person than yourself wants something, they will get it." It was a hard life, nothing came easy and everyone hated you but in time, she adjusted and was doing well...for a hobo until a Mayor came to town pinning crimes on them they didn't commit forcing them into hiding moving from one condemned building to another. At times, she questioned living or dying...giving up and giving in. When she wasn't being beaten by the police, she was being beaten by the gangs to keep her mouth shut literally fighting other kids for a piece of bread found in the trash. The relationship between her hobo savior grew to that of a father figure. He loved her as his own daughter and her new way of life became "normal" until the Chinese Mafia came into town torturing and killing seemingly for the fun of it forcing her to watch her "father" tortured and killed before pulling her into their ranks.
Over time, she worked her way up through the ranks going from doing the dirty jobs no one else wanted to do to becoming a feared torturer naming her Distansa, an old Chinese name for a creature from hell because of what she was able to conjure up to do to her victims. Her name was known and feared even by those in the Mafia in which she ran. The leader's son started t become jealous of her and tried to get her into trouble forcing her to dispose of him the best way she could. For fear of a war...her against the mighty Chinese Mafia...she fled and found her way to Syn City where she first joined Oso stating "my rebellious side took over and I did not agree with things within them. They were more of being under the radar when I just wanted to make people fear us. I left them and joined the Sinners." becoming one of the things she assumes most everyone in Syn City is...a criminal. She did manage to find friends though and it was with a friend named Amelia that she left Sinners and started their own gang...the Death Dolls who at one point was even allied with the Vipers. After the alliance ended, there was constant fighting and anarchy rose up within the Death Dolls and the gang was soon dissolved while Distansa kept the money while others fled town. She left for about 6 months but when she returned, she was a new person and had a rep in the City even without being in a gang. She wasn't bothered though she was offered a place within several gangs turning them all down instead joining the police force as Lieutenant.
She is now the Distansa, we all know having worked her way up from Lieutenant to Deputy Chief and acting Chief doing what she can to make Syn City a better place where one can enjoy and ice cream cone in peace at the park. She denies all allegations of corruption within the SCPD and looks at all cases the same unless one involves an officer being shot down. When that happens...."I will do every thing I can to make the offender's life hell. We will not stand for cruelty against the officers of this city!" She hopes that while Chief, the crime numbers drop and conditions within the city improve. She has no intentions to ever marry or have kids. She did however, have a message for Synizens "you better watch out, you better not cry, you better not run I am telling you why, SCPD is come for you SCPD is comming for you so dont go doing annnnnnyyyyyy crimmmmmeeeeee." You heard it all right here folks...from abandoned child to criminal to Deputy Police Chief....Distansa doesn't give up and doesn't give in.

2. The City doesn't have the funds to defend themselves in a court room. There is a judge or two but very few lawyers. In Syn City at the moment...the cops are the law.
3. Injuries no matter how big or small will never keep someone in Syn from drawing their weapons...even if in a wheelchair as proven by two Synizens in this photo.
4. Dia has left Tann due to having a HUGE crush on one of Syn City's officers of the law, Mofo who can't wait to put his penis in her vajajay.
5. Crissy from the Vipers is pregnant with triplets...quite obvious considering how fat and round she's gotten as of late.
6. Dia lasso'd herself a naked Alister and after getting her rope around him wasn't finished, taking him for a ride. Bet he enjoyed that! Was it cowgirl or reversed cowgirl...that's my question. When asked, she stated "i dont cap and tell haha"....I take that to mean things got kinkier then a quick ride.
7. Wanted has called out Death multiple times for a 1v1 but each time something happens to keep it from happening. Will Death give Wanted the 1v1 he wants or will he continue to deny him? Is Death afraid or does he just want to have the right situation for it so bets can be placed? The battle finally took place...one preferring to shoot, the other preferring to melee....after several hours...might have been a half hour but seemed like several hours...Death defeated Wanted in their fight.
8. Hyst wants to be raped and doesn't care if it's by a male or female, she was heard saying ""Rape meee". In considering the articles she writes for the paper, are you surprised she wants to be "taken"?
9. Dia, Tann, Kombo, and Pettori had a foursome but Tann got jealous and broke up with Dia so now Dia, Kombo, and Pettori have threesomes instead. We're unsure at this time who Tann is fucking now but we have been told he is out of town fucking someone.
10. Fredo had Wolf dance on the pole for him and Wanted, to watch him do some spanking while Sinnoso were inside Viper's HQ apparently he has a thing for wolf. According to our source...someone is bi curious. Is someone also anti-bi? Is it really so wrong for a man to enjoy watching another man dance? Dear Editor,
I am writing you for a couple of reasons that I feel you, as an unbiased newspaper, should be aware of. First, the PD was not re-opened the day of the press conference announcing the 'new' PD building due to the fact that the building had much work still left to be done on it. If you had stayed long enough you would have known this, or at the very least did some follow up to ensure your facts were correct before print. Which brings me to the second reason I am writing you. The article in regards to the H4L building being shut down was extremely one sided and filled with misinformation. As a news agency I am shocked and disappointed at the Gazette's failure to bring an unbiased and informed article to print. An SCPD officer was not the only one compelled to close the building and the counselor mentioned in the deputy mayor's statement was never approached for her side or to even ensure she had anything to do with the building's closing.
I hope that in the future your newspaper will be more interested in getting the whole story rather than coming across, as you did in Issue 19, as a glorified tabloid. I hope to see follow up articles on these issues in your next edition as I do usually enjoy reading your newspaper. Or, at the very least, a disclaimer on the paper that the Syn City Gazette promotes only one sided news reporting.
